Holland Festival 2012: Wilson/Ambramovic, Charmatz and Linyekula

In June 2012 I wrote about performances in the Holland Festival, again for the Dutch webzine DeDodo.nl. Besides a preview/interview with Faustin Linyekula about his production of La Création du Monde, I also wrote about Enfant by Boris Charmatz and about Life and death of Marina Ambramovic by Bob Wilson. Well, Wilson, Charmatz and Linyekula were not on their own doing stuff. Crowds of famous and less famous people were their collaborators.

Springdance 2012: Dimchev, Sehgal en Avdal/Shinokazi

In April 2012 I wrote about several performances at Springdance festival, the last time Bettina Masuch was directing, for of coarse DeDodo. This means most text are rather short and all in Dutch - quiet an exercise!! There was I-on from Ivo Dimchev; Field works - office by Avdal and Shinozaki; and Symphony X by the REDUX ORCHESTRA conducted by the composer himself, Ari Benjamin Meyers, directed by Tino Sehgal.
